Advice for Road Runners: The Nike Men's Invincible 3 Road Running Shoes provide a significant amount of plush cushioning. The Invincible 3's main purpose is to reduce the toll that a run takes on your feet and legs, which helps you to feel fresher at the start of the next run. 

Underfoot Feel

The midsole foam is shaped like a rocker and consists of a lot of Nike's ZoomX foam. This is key to the running experience offered by the Invincible 3. ZoomX foam is light, very soft, and it returns a lot of energy. 

You should notice that the midsole and the outsole are wide at the heel and the forefoot. This provides a very stable base from which to land and push off from. 

The overall result is shoes which feel very plush, protective and forgiving underfoot.

Upper Fit

An evolved Flyknit upper provides breathability and support where it is most needed.

We know that some runners find the Invincible 3 to feel loose at the heel. There is an extra eyelet which can be used for a tighter fit at the heel, if required. However, our advice is to only use this if you find that you definitely need it. In all likelihood you will find the looser and less intrusive fit at the heel will end up feeling very normal.

Ideal Run Type

The Nike Men's Invincible 3 Road Running are best for easy to steady paced training runs.

The quality and quantity of cushioning means that they should be very comfortable for long distance runs. And they should then be a very good choice for the following day's recovery run.

Sizing Advice

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.

Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).

This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
